ibis Amsterdam Centre Stopera

The ibis Amsterdam Center Stopera hotel is located in the center of Amsterdam, within walking distance of Waterlooplein, Rembrandtplein, Kalverstraat and Dam Square. The hotel has 207 hotel rooms and a cozy bar. In the summer, guests can use the terrace or the pretty courtyard garden. Last year the bar, lobby and breakfast restaurant were completely renovated with the latest design design. In 2017, the rooms were renovated and restyled in a super trendy and stylish look. The hotel is easily accessible by metro or tram (station / stop Waterlooplein).

A young, enthusiastic team or around 35 employees working at the hotel. With great pleasure they make our guests happy every day and give them an unforgettable stay. The atmosphere in the hotel is informal and so are the contacts with guests, your colleagues and management. You can also see this in the guest reviews. The hotel has different departments: reception, reservations, restaurant, bar, breakfast, kitchen, technical service, general service and HR. The nice thing about an ibis hotel is that you can work as an employee independently and therefore learn a lot. In addition, there are many career opportunities within Accor.

The management team consists of the General Manager, Operations Manager, Back Office Manager, Head of Reservations and Head of Facility & Technical Service. We think it is important that our guests receive full attention and that is why we have a Back Office team that is responsible for administration and a Quality & Service team (these are all operational departments) that works for the screens. It is precisely by separating these departments that we create more availability towards the guest.

The guests of the hotel are both tourists and business people. During breakfast you sometimes see a difference between these guests: one takes all the time, while the other quickly drinks his coffee with one eye on the clock. In the evening, however, everyone has time to relax. And that is certainly possible in the cozy and informal atmosphere of our hotel, where both our guests and employees feel at home.
